He joked about the school run, his love of dance music, and revealed he still follows the Queen's scone rule, cream first, then jam. But my favourite moment came when he spoke about Kate, who just completed one of her first official overseas engagements since her treatment. Yeah, she did. I had no idea she spoke Italian either. Did she do that at uni?
I didn't actually. LAUGHTER She must have dusted that off a while ago. It must have been a very difficult time back then with the kids as well. And seeing her being able to fulfil those duties must have made you feel very happy. Yeah, very much so. She's an amazing mum, an amazing wife, and literally our family couldn't cope without her. So she's been absolutely stunning, really has. And she says she wants to do more of those. Yes, I think so. It kind of just sort of edging herself back into doing more and more of those trips. Away trips like that take a lot out of you because you're on sort of permanent receive and send the whole time. And so we have to balance that, make sure she's okay and rested. But yeah, she's in good form.
You have to balance it with maybe a glass of wine and some pasta on the sly. I'm hoping that she grabs that.
