This season of my life is full of tears and snot - and I'm "okay" with it. We get to have and feel the heaviness, the despair, the overwhelm, the frustration, the aloneness of our particularly shitty season - and we get to give ourselves the permission to be right here where we are - puffy and raw and unsure and cracking open - which brings sacred attention to the rock bottom. Instead of seeing it as inconvenient, useless, pathetic or weak, in truth this is precisely where and how and through which that metamorphosis happens. No one can take our place, no one can do it for us. When we can stay anchored in the process, we bring comfort and love to ourselves when we need it most.
