Ray talked about these two words like musical forces: impact is percussive and in the moment like a rock dropped in the water, while influence is fluid and like a river that flows over a rock for 500 years, it shapes and forms all within its path. Life is full of moments of impact. And that’s great - I want to have an impact in my generation. But more and more, I pray for a life of influence… a legacy that lasts.
