Um, because I kinda just wanna talk about how Football content has just changed over the years for me specifically and Just how my experiences have have shaped me and why I'm just kinda worried about the future as a whole.

So if you're okay with that, I I feel like I just kinda want this video to be a little bit more raw and um Yeah, I just wanna talk about like how I fell in love with football as a whole and then why I'm concerned about it and the future we're we're we're potentially going towards. So I grew up a Raiders fan, as many of you probably know by my incensive screaming about this fucking team and their decisions, and I was a big twenty tens early football guy. Um And I was a big crazy early twenty tens football guy basically. That's like w when my fanhood reached its peakness, you know, I could figure out how to turn on a fucking T V. And I love dudes like Jamal Charles, even though he's on the Chiefs. Love me some Jamal Charles.

Um I love some Andre Johnson. That whole Texans team dude. Arian Foster, of course like Aaron Rodgers. Um I did not like Peyton Manning 'cause he played for the Broncos, but I respected the hell out of his game. Those were my dudes, right? So then, you know, naturally I start looking at more content because I have YouTube. I my had a fucking iPad back then and I start watching like old NFL film stuff. Uh, their top tens were always great, very informative, 'cause I didn't really know much about older football at the time, so Then I started like looking more into that. So much good content there, dude. Ray Diddinger, my guy. He gave me so much information. Um, especially for the Eagles video too. His book was a great read, but then they started like adding like comedians and

the NFL film stuff like kinda went downhill in my opinion. It wasn't very good, but um that's that's besides the point. Anyways, yeah, it just it seemed like the NFL like had a soul back then too, uh much more than today in terms of just the people that they brought on to discuss the game. Um people people like um I must said Boomer Osaiasin, but um OG ESPN Boomer. Um, he just I don't know, he would just bring this energy to the game that you could just tell he loved what he did. And he still does now, but it's just it's it's it's different. It was a special thing back then. And although I didn't like grow up in that era, just seeing like these old clips on ESPN when I have to go grab clips for my documentary type of videos.

It's it's a different vibe and I I do wish I grew up in that era to some extent. And a lot of that is entirely impossible nowadays, just because you don't have to be at the TV at exactly 9 p.m. to be able to figure out what the fuck happened in the Vikings Cardinals game, and that's fine, right? That's totally fine. Now There is a bigger issue that I want to discuss with all of that though, and a lot of it has to do with the accessibility of sports and the oversaturation of opinions as a whole and just trying to stand out and w why all of this has come to the point where people feel like they have to just do things that don't align with their actual opinions to stand out, basically. Now that that was just kind of a word salad to be honest with you, so that's that's my bad.

But I really feel like The NFL itself has sort of been able to monopolize the public opinion on things, and I guess not the NFL, but more like ESPN, which, you know, technically works in conjunction with the NFL, so same thing.
