What birthday celebrations are happening at the start of the episode?

Nick Viall 0:13
What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to another episode of the Vifiles Reality Recap edition. I'm your host, Nick, joined by the birthday girl herself, my wife, Allie Joy.
Olivia Maher 0:24
Woo! Woo! Happy birthday. She's ever girl, y'all!
Susie C. Evans 0:27
She is old as the hills. She's twenty-eight. Wow, that is crazy. Oh my goodness. I saw some pictures from a little birthday celebration this weekend.
Nick Viall 0:38
Happy early birthday to Sierra. Her birthday is tom uh tomorrow. Well it would be today if you're listening.
Yeah.
Unknown 0:43
Happy early birthday. They're both
Nick Viall 0:44
they're both today in a way.
Unknown 0:47
I'm older than the hill that Natalie is old on. So Right.
Susie C. Evans 0:52
Like calling out her being old, I'm like as I'm several years older. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, okay, forget I said that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's cool. It's cool. I turn to dust.
Nick Viall 1:02
Uh Suzy is also with us today. How you doing, Susie?
Susie C. Evans 1:05
Good. I also celebrated other people's birthdays this week and like there's so many birthdays happening. Does anyone else feel that way?
Natalie Joy 1:22
My mom told me it was a birthday present from my dad and I was like, That's more than I needed to know.
Olivia Maher 1:27
Yeah. You know,
Natalie Joy 1:28
his birthday's December tenth. Okay. He's a he was a happy man.
Unknown 1:34
I do hate being reduced down to a New Year's Eve party that went well. Uh yeah, but like
Nick Viall 1:39
going back like in a way that in a way in a way that means you're a miracle. It kind of implies it kind of implies that for a moment, like your your your parents weren't like hooking up because your dad was a pain in the ass, but it was his birthday. So your mom was like fucking his present. Wait, that's so true. And and any other day it wouldn't have happened because like they weren't hooking up and so here you are the miracle baby.
Natalie Joy 2:03
So true. Way to spin it, honey. Yeah. Yeah. I love that. We've had a rager of a weekend. We're
Nick Viall 2:10
up at the lake. So Lake Nick is out. He's wearing shorts. He's wearing flip flops. Um
Natalie Joy 2:14
He's eating a lot of sugar.
Nick Viall 2:15
I had a lot of sugar this weekend.
Natalie Joy 2:17
Yeah. When I saw River on the sea dew. So cute, guys. That was actually the sweetest moment ever.
Nick Viall 2:25
You know, it's really great right now. Like being at the lake every time I'm here, I I always have like a fonder of appreciation of life and oh or just like what's in my in uh going on my world. Um but you know, I we bought I bought this house like right when we found out River was Nalia's printing with River. So like there's always you know, it was like a perfect time of like, you know, fantasizing about okay, I'm gonna have a kid, you know, having the lake, it's so much it was such about my childhood. I hope my child connects with the lake, yada yada yada. And so river's been up here I don't know, ten, twelve, I don't know. I don't know how many times. Plenty. But she's so young that every time she comes up here, and I don't know how long it'll last, uh maybe another year, but every time she comes up here, it's like the first time again.
Olivia Maher 3:12
Mm-hmm. Oh
Nick Viall 3:13
and sh you know what I'm saying? Like it's she she's starting to have memories of it, but everything, you know, we do a lot of new stuff and we have with the we did some landscape and there's a playground, you know, and so it's so cool. Like in my like my my like happiest place in the world, like to see her like experience for the first time like it's the best groundhogs day a father could have. It's really great.
Natalie Joy 3:38
That's really beautiful. That's so much fun up here.
Susie C. Evans 3:41
I also think it will last for a long time. Like I remember Go into my parents, my dad's side of the family had a lake house when we were younger and it was always magical. Like it never got old because we didn't go it wasn't like we lived there or anything. It was like always magical.
Natalie Joy 3:57
That's how I feel like too. She's gonna it's like different toy you know, it's like everything's everything I kind of made it where everything here is kind of the same as home, just so it's like familiar enough, you know, like she's got the same big girl bed, she's got kind of the same I don't know, the same vibe of stuff and but it's all like different toys. And so every time she comes she's like, Oh my gosh and she opens up like a new drawer or a cabinet or something like that.
