Yeah. I feel like every parent is always like, that's genius. Yeah.
I know.
I will say though, that I do credit all of that mostly to my amazing fiance, Tia. She's such a good mom. She really is. She's been so good ever since she's been an infant to just work with her patient. She's always working with her speech and talking and this and playing. And she did so much research going into it. She's just been amazing. And I think that that does help
Yeah, I'm very lucky to have Natalie. She's like, I feel like I'm one of the most hands-on dads, but like compared to like the finer details that Natalie does, like there's little things that she's researched. I'm more like, you know, just let's just feel it out. Like, just trust your gut, you know? But she's like... kind of good.
And I'm like, you have a lot of siblings grew up around babies, very familiar, but I've learned a lot that I had no idea. And Natalie brings in my attention for like the little details that she looks into and things like that.
Totally. And I think nowadays too, I mean, you, there's so much like research and just online and stuff. You can, There's so many things you can learn about that I don't think that our parents had when we were growing up, you know, it was just sort of weighing it. So there is a lot of information out there that does make such a difference.
You know, things that Tia has done with Honey, you can really see how it's helped her developmental stage, you know, a lot. So it's been really cool. How did you and Tia meet? We met in Hawaii. We sort of started, you know, I slid into the DMs. Hey, you know, I mean, it's just, it's interesting. Like, you know, Instagram and those kinds of things.
It's one of those things where you have people's information. They don't even know. I mean, everybody, you know, so I did, I saw her on that show, the surfing show, the ultimate surfer. Yeah. Yeah. It was, yeah, The Ultimate Surfer.
It's been a long time. All of us are on TV.

Chapter 4: What challenges has Brody faced with reality TV fame?
You're on this season of Special Forces.
I am, yep. What made you want to do it?
I didn't want to do it that's like I literally I would say like I would say that the reason why that I did it was probably because the my initial reaction of doing it was like I don't want to do that you know I was like that's that looks intense that looks hard that looks like very challenging and mentally and physically and I'm like I don't I don't necessarily want to do that and
Then I sort of like, you know, that was my initial reaction was like, oh, you know, I don't, I don't really want to do it. And then they're asking, oh, was there a price or whatever it is? And I just was like, well, maybe I was thinking like, I slept on it and I'm like, would I do this? Like, I really had to think about, I thought about my grandparents. Both my grandparents were in the military.
We're in the, one of them was a ranger and the other one was an engineer in World War II. So I come from a lineage of military, and so I was thinking about that. The more time I just had to sit there and sort of take it in and think about it, it's kind of like, you know what?
Because I don't want to do this, it's probably a good idea for me to do it because I think that any time you're afraid of doing something or whatever, it just makes you stronger if you go through that experience. And so I was a little afraid of it, but then I was like, Maybe I should do this. I thought about it. And ultimately, I just was like, you know what? I talked to my brother.
My fiance wanted me to do it. My mom did not. My mom was like, no, honey, don't put yourself through that, honey. Do not do that. Of course.
Were you familiar with the show beforehand?
You know what? I was a little familiar. I didn't watch a lot. I saw the bits and pieces of the first one and then little bits. I didn't watch it all the way through, but I did once I decided to do it. And then I watched it all and I watched this superstar over here make it to the end. And it was really inspiring.
