Chapter 1: How do Nick and Natalie navigate relationship dynamics?
What was in the rest of the suitcase?
Great question. More of her stuff.
Okay. Well, you know, she does have the photos and the, you know, needs to look nice and the dinners and. Thank you.
Yeah. Anyways.
I love you.
I love you too. How are your flowers?
They were absolutely beautiful. He did send me some flowers and said, miss you. You love flowers? I do love flowers. Well, Nick is really, he's really good about flowers. And I know it's because he has the florist on speed dial and he'll just, the florist will text him being like, hey, buddy, it's St. Patrick's Day. You want to send some flowers? And Nick's like, yeah, sure. Happy St. Patty's Day.
Love, Nick. Do they really remind you?
No.

Chapter 2: Why did Venita join the podcast to discuss Southern Charm?
And he's looking for a tennis game. And this is probably 85, I think. And he says, no. And I said, well, okay, we're hitting. And he's hitting everything into the net over my head. He played terribly. He had a bad back and tennis wasn't his game. He played golf. So every time he hit the ball over the net, he screamed, fuck, fuck, bitch, son of a fucker, you know, screaming out loud.
And I'm dying. I'm dying on the other end of the court, hysterical, because I'm saying to myself, shit, I'm playing tennis with James Bond and he curses just like me. You know?
Yeah.
And it was just, it was the height of the day, you know? He was a good guy, really good guy.
Did you finally tell him how y'all knew each other after the game?
No, I asked if he remembered me at the very top of what we chatted at the beginning when I saw him, he was looking for a game. And he didn't remember me. And I said, Sean, do you remember me? I was just standing. And he says, nope. But do you want to play? So yeah, sure.
Isn't that great how like, you know, we remember those stories from so long ago and they stick with us and, you know, just hearing how you even got into acting and here you are now so many years later, replaying a character that was so iconic in like the eighties. It just like, just, you know, it kind of, it always sticks with you. It's always, always fun to hear those like throwback stories.
The character was a very one-dimensional character in the movies. But when we did the series, I did not want him to be anything really but vulnerable and have an arc and have a lot of colors in his emotional colors and people to learn why he was the way he was in the movies, tough, hard, one-dimensional. You know, and they did it. They wrote those things.
And it made me feel really good, especially in the end, you know, season six, where he has, you know, there's so many people that there are so many interviews. My son reads me all the interviews. And, you know, there's so many, you know, I guess they're not really interviews. They're actually, you know, criticisms or appreciation in the sense of a review of the final season.

Chapter 6: What controversies surround Erewhon and expensive strawberries?
I have to do a PSA for mental health.
Please.
I have to go and do that. So I have to go to the other side of town and do it. A friend of mine, it's very interesting. He's been asking me for years to do it. And it's amazing. If children don't get enough attention from birth all the way to four,
if they spend a lot of time watching TV or looking out the window or just not getting the support and love in those formative years, 68% of those children end up dropping out of high school.
Really?
Yeah.
You know, we have a one-year-old little girl. Do you really?
We do. Oh, Mazel Tov. That's great. She just turned one. Yeah, you got it. You know, I mean, yeah, I kind of knew that because we had tried for five years to have a baby. And my ex-wife, we're still very good friends. And we tried everything, you know, gift and frozen embryo transplants and in vitro. And finally, we had twins. And after five years of attempting, it was incredible.
The kids are great. And a boy and a girl. And I think that's when my career slowed down in 1990.
