And look, as I said, I understand it because there's two blokes there who both covet this job, both want this job, right? So how can you work alongside each other? It seems like a really untenable situation to me. So I can understand why Dean's gone down this path.
Let me say this. I spoke to Mick last night. And as of last night, he was prepared to go – like he was talking about an ambush against the Sydney Roosters. He was all in backing Dean to lead as interim and he be the assistant. They had a constructive working relationship. It wasn't like they didn't get on. And he was – from everything Mick said, he was ready to go.

But – wake up this morning and he's told he's not required. I understand the ambition, really. I do. I get it. But I don't know if it was that... that dog-eat-dog scenario of where Ennis would try and white-ant Dean Young during an interim phase.
No, no, I'm not saying white-ant him. I'm just saying I can imagine it would have been uncomfortable.

You know, because as I said, there's two blokes going for basically the same job because Mick's been linked with that job pretty heavily as well. And throwing the staff together, I just think it would have been a difficult situation. It would have made things uncomfortable, I reckon, when that process was rolling on. Imagine if they both went for job interviews.
