Hey everybody, and welcome to the True Crime Squad. This is Katie Weaver. I'm here with my sister, co-host, and partner in crime, Christy Brouwer. Hello. Hello, hey everybody. How's it going?
You know, it it's good. I just barely ended the the live stream over on the trials channel for the uh Thomas Kazowski trial of day four. Um it's always a little hard on my brain when I'm planning one show while I'm also streaming another. And Yeah, I was very glad it ended just in time for me to end it before we got on here 'cause it's very hard. To keep my attention split between two. Oh yeah. Very good. Also, bad news. I have a fungus under my fingernails and I can't wear nails for a while. Oh no, rude Yeah. Oh it's like why do my fingernails look black? I'm looking up pictures of oh no. Yeah. Oh.
Yeah, that's not good news.
Yeah. So Well now you know. That's gross. And also annoying because I really prefer to have nails at all times, which is probably why I have developed this problem. So Could be.
Uh I don't know about you. Or any of you that were at the watch party last night. But I am not even close to recovered from watching God. Uh the Michael Miller. Documentary on Netflix. Holy shit. I went on. I watched the whole thing. I couldn't stop. Oh, there's not enough punching pillows in the world. The amount of rage I still feel right now, I can't even express.
Yeah. Yeah. And I only watched the first episode. I was like, I gotta go to bed. I cannot watch more of this. I'm Yeah. Furious. Oh my I mean I knew he was horrible and had done horrible things to her, but holy crap you guys.
That it's so much worse. So much worse than the media ever could have even begun to express.
I understand much better now why people fought so hard to get him charged. Ha yeah. Also people close to her knowing
all of this shit. Wow. The laws in South Carolina uh that rural domestic violence in marriages are horrible. Absolutely horrible. I know there's a push to create Micah's Law. and get that passed, um, and it should. But holy mother of God, you guys, I don't even know what to say. Go watch it or don't. But wow. The level of absolute evil that uh JP Miller spilled onto that poor girl is just unbelievable.
Yeah. And he should not be Out there doing the same to somebody else. Yeah. Can
I I'm
talking about an unsafe person.
Yeah. And of course the only charge he faces is just uh associated with uh stalking. Just a stocking charge. It's federal, but still But still It seems paltry in comparison to what he did to her. He put her in a mental institution. On a lie. On a light. Uh, just all of it. I can't scary. Anyway, so we thought today would be a good day for a dumb criminals episode because there's been plenty of bad criminals this whole week, uh really bad ones. So we thought maybe just some idiots would uh Send us all off into the weekend with a smile on our faces. So Let's uh let's start. So we actually have a Oh, we have lost Christy. Oh there, she's back. Okay.
With like
magic.
It was like magic because I did it and then I undid it. Yeah. Accidentally.
So yeah, the current wife whose husband recently died, oh yeah, that's that's it's all there. Yeah, that's also yeah needs more attention, I think. Just all of it. But let's go. Let's start. So uh our first segment is a brand new segment here. We've been saying we needed it for a while and we have finally made it. So I'm gonna kick us off with influencers gone wild.
It's a bop. Okay. Oh gosh. You know, are we just sick to death of these idiotic Influencers yet. You know Yes. The ones that are out creating chaos, demanding free things. Expecting people to know who I am, you know, the the typical nonsense and bullshit, right?
