Chapter 1: What tragic event is the episode centered around?
Hello everyone, my name is Rachel and welcome back to another true crime video. So the case that I have for you all today is one that is truly devastating. It is just flat out unfair how all of this happened and my heart breaks for everybody involved and I know yours will too.
Just as a little disclaimer, this case takes place in South Africa, and a lot of the names of people involved are very difficult for me to pronounce, including who this video is about, so if I say things a little bit off, please just be patient with me.
I looked up the pronunciations of every name and word that I was confused on, but some of them only sound right with an accent or certain sounds that I simply cannot produce. So again, I do apologize if I mispronounce anything, just know that I'm trying my best. With that being said, let's get into the case.
Tseho Fatsopule, who went by Zeho, was born on May 10, 1992, in a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa, and she had a rough start from the time that she was very young. When Zeho was a baby, her father actually passed away, and by the time she was 10 years old, her mother also passed away. So she and her younger brother were primarily raised by her aunt Priscilla.
By all accounts, Priscilla did her absolute best to raise Zejo in the most stable, loving home possible. Zejo is known to always see the good in others, always wanting to help anybody she could. She was kind-hearted, optimistic, and outgoing. She loved dancing.
In fact, her friends would joke that they never met someone who was as bad at dancing as her, who still loved to dance as much as she did. She was also described as loving fashion and makeup, eventually wanting to work in the beauty space. For the time being, she worked at the makeup counter at a Mac store, which she loved.
She would do other people's makeup at their homes or she would do her friend's makeup and her family's makeup. She had actually been accepted into the University of Johannesburg, but she decided to take her life in another direction because she loved makeup and she knew that she wanted to work in the field of cosmetology.
She was a happy child and bubbly. A child who loves fashion and very clean. Like her mother, she liked clothing. So who will never go for something that was sold for 50 rand clothes? She was very expensive. Very expensive, but the most dangerous thing about Tsehoi is that she was very secretive. She was not this child who will come to you and say, you know, I have a problem.
Even if she was in pain, she will still smile. You will keep on asking, Tsehoi, is everything okay? She will say, yeah, I'm fine. But as a mother you will see that today is not like yesterday. Today she's not like last week. Something is definitely going on. But she'll keep on saying no.

Chapter 2: Who was Tshegoftaso Pule and what was her background?
It was reported differently depending on who you ask, but him and Rosette were most likely engaged, or at least they told others that they were. Shoba called her his wife, but some reports say that their relationship was on and off, so who really knows the exact nature of their relationship?
What we do know is that him and Rosette had been involved with one another for about 13 years, buying property together in 2015, and had started premarital negotiations with Rosette's family in early 2020. By all accounts, Shoba grew up in a loving, supportive home. He was described as well-educated, eventually going on to work as a financial analyst at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
Here, he excelled at his job. He found his job invigorating and he was very good at his job. He was known as being a kind, moral man. However, those who knew him personally knew that he did like to party and he liked women. A lot. So, when Zeho started seeing Shoba, she saw it as a less serious fling.
It seemed that he made it clear that he was with another woman and she was okay with that because she saw their relationship as very casual. However, I don't know how long Zeho was happy with this arrangement because as their relationship progressed, Zeho felt that there was no way that he could have been seeing somebody else. He acted so caring, so loving, and so warm towards her.
Again, like I said, Zeho wouldn't really tell anybody about who she was seeing, but family members did see him around sometimes. They saw his car outside of their home, but Zeho never introduced him to her family. They would see him picking her up and dropping her off at home, but they wondered why he never came in to say hi or why he never wanted to meet her family.
But they didn't really question it too much. Again, Zeho was in her 20s, so she could see whoever she wanted. and had no obligation to tell anybody about her personal dating life. Then there was one time where I believe a family friend of Zeho's, she was very close with Zeho and saw her as almost being a little sister of hers.
But this friend saw her and Shoba out at a bar, so she pulled Zeho aside and said that she knew Shoba and she knew that he was the type of guy who liked to get around. He had slept with many different women in the area, and not only that, but she thought he might be married. So, this friend was basically warning her about Shoba because obviously she didn't want to see her getting hurt.
But again, Zeho said that she wasn't all that serious about the relationship, so she sort of just brushed the warning off. But just months into the relationship, in early 2019, it turned out that Zeho was actually pregnant. Both Zeho and Shoba were shocked. At first, the two talked about it and they both came to the mutual decision to terminate her pregnancy.
Apparently, Shoba told her that he just wasn't ready to be a father and she agreed that they weren't in the right position for a baby. So, Shoba gave Zeho money to get an abortion and she did get the abortion, but it deeply affected her. She really struggled with what happened and it definitely affected her mental health in a negative way.

Chapter 3: What was the nature of Tshegoftaso Pule's relationship with Ntituko Shoba?
The following day, Shoba sent Seho a few text messages asking her if she had gotten home safely, but as we know, this was just a ruse. He knew exactly what happened to her, but he wanted to make it seem like he was trying to figure out where she was and what happened to her. So, now going back to Musi being in that police interrogation room.
After telling this entire story, he made it clear that yes, he did kill Zeyhal, but it was at the instruction of Shoba and he said that he felt terrible about it. So, he did ultimately accept a plea deal in exchange for his testimony at the murder trial for Shoba. Due to this, Musi was given a 20 year sentence behind bars for the murder.
So after hearing what Musi had to say, Ntutuko Shoba was arrested and charged with premeditated murder. This case actually took two years to be heard in front of a judge. But finally, by March of 2022, Shoba's trial for murder started. The prosecution outlined the entire relationship that Shoba and Zeho had.
How he was a cheater and a liar and never intended on staying with Seho for the baby from the very beginning. They talked about how when he got her pregnant the first time, she did end up aborting the baby. But when she got pregnant again, she was already three months along by the time she told Shoba and it was too late at that point to get rid of it.
The prosecution outlined over 100 pages of WhatsApp text messages between them, showing Shobha's disinterest in having the baby. At the trial, he actually read many of these messages aloud, which I will play for you now.
Hi Shobha, I hope you're fine. Listen, can you talk because I want to call you. There is, I want to talk to you about, okay? I guess you want to say there's something I want to talk to you about. My response is, in a meeting, Nana will call you and I'm out. And then she says, okay, please. That's from her.
What is the response from the boss?
Oh, snap. Yo, that's tricky. I remember, but I guess then we should go do the test together and second confirmation. Wow, this can't be good.
He says the second test was to confirm the pregnancy, as Sokho Fatso had done a home test. On Monday, he told the court he'd made the decision clear that they weren't having an abortion. He reads an extract from one of the messages when the matter was discussed.
