Why does God allow so much evil in my life?

So I would say that you're not too far gone. Evil happens to everybody. Of course, there's different levels, but we're thankful that we're not too far gone. One thing you are correct about is you can't go back. Right. But that's the reason why Jesus had to die. If we could go back and change things, we probably would. And then if we live the perfect life, we wouldn't need a perfect person to then die for us. Right. Right. When you look at Genesis chapter 50, verse 20, Joseph is sold by his brothers, his very own blood. But what he says is, you have evil thoughts against me, but God used it for good.
So can God step into the pain and change everything and use it and wield it for his power and his glory? Absolutely. Absolutely. He's done this multiple times. Right. People think only about the evilness that's happened in their lives. They don't think about the God who's deeper than the evil and more greater than the evil. That's the issue. So we have to really focus on who actually steps into our lives and does better for us. Can we do it? No, but God can do it.

And that's the whole thing, right? But if you're, again, laser focused on it's evil, it's horrible. And then in that case, you can't really see God. God allowing something to happen does not mean God condoned what happened. It does not mean God loved what happened. You guys understand what I'm saying? So like Jesus, for example, he was betrayed. He had the most evil things done to him and he did no wrong to anybody, but God allowed it. He was delivered, right? When you look at Acts 2.23, let's go to Acts 2.23. Let me see, make sure it's Acts 2.23. Give me a second here. It has to be Acts 2.23. Him being delivered by the determinate counsel and for knowledge of God, you have taken and by wicked hands have crucified and slain.
So the people who grabbed hold of Jesus had wicked hands and slain him, meaning they killed him. But Jesus, who knew no sin, right? He knew no sin. was delivered for our sin. Now imagine if Jesus goes, nah, I shouldn't have been delivered. I'm too far gone. Away with me, God. Like, you left me. You forsook me. You don't care about me. Let's say he does this, right? Then that wouldn't benefit us in any way whatsoever. When you say, I already made the mistakes. Of course, there are scars. There are consequences. There are things that you cannot undo. Absolutely. Many of us, I firsthand understand this, right? There's nothing you can do.
Why do we ask questions for control instead of surrender?
But that's why God says, I am close, nigh, Psalm 34, 18, to them who are broken in heart. And he saves people with a contrite spirit. He's near to those people. To who? The broken hearted people. So, yes, you may be angry. You may feel like you're too far gone. Why don't you just bring that to God, though? That's the whole point. Right. Is to bring it to God.
