All right. So we don't really have like any lemon cakes or any sort of like rating or review to go over because we don't really have any content. Uh necessarily other than the trailers and all the speculation that you've probably been seeing online. Um so we will we will briefly talk about the trailer and some of the the new characters here. Um Pete, is this your first like uh Song of Ice and Fire cast that you're doing with us?
Um I did a I did a Knights of the Seven Kingdom one.
We did the Knight of the Seven You did one of those, right? Yeah, okay. Yeah, but this is uh House of the Dragon that was yeah. Okay. Um, why don't you since I mean you haven't been on one of these in that in that regard, why don't you give me uh what were your opinions on season two, the way season two ended? And then we'll we'll have a little recap discussion of that.
You know, like I liked it. I I thought it was a good season, but you know, part of the part of the issue with the way that's and you guys have talked about this before, like the adaptations, like they need to make some things last and some things kind of rush. Like as parts season two kind of dragged for me. Like all the Heronhall stuff with Damon, some of it was cool, but some of it just kinda kinda dragged. And like it seems like this is this season's just gonna be a lot of like hardcore action right the heck away to make up for like a lot of what was going down. In the second season, like um No, we'll get into some of this like later, like some of the characters. Like but like overall I really like this, um
They're doing a better job of adapting it, I think, than they did with Game of Thrones. So I'm happy that way. But uh yeah, we'll get more into it as we go on.
Story a little more like rumor and myth and Um in you know in the retelling. But season two interpretation and stuff. Yes, yeah, there's there's conflicting reports and but season two, yeah, i I mean I remember the back half of that season. We were all wondering Where is this go like what are they building up to? Like there's gonna be some sort of large battle at the end or You know, there's gonna be some climax is what it seemed like. And then I think that was the big disappointment, at least it what it seemed like from most of the people watching the show was like The second season ends kind of with everything set up. And you know, you were you were all like on your way, you know, what you were waiting, you put your order in, you had your appetizer and dinner never came, sort of thing.
So yeah, which you know, which might make this more strong on the rewatch. Uh, depending on how the season goes, I do think we're gonna get right into it. Um, I believe that maybe that had to do with them wanting to hold off casting certain key members there and be involved in some of these battles, you know, 'cause that saves money not having them in both seasons, that sort of thing.
