Uh the premiere which I believe is called Salt and Sea, Fire and Blood. Uh, which is fitting given everything that happened. Uh, my name is Adam. All right. So uh we got a good crew here. Well let's jump into the lemon cakes. Uh we'll go in the same order, Michal. Did this uh did this go about how you expected the premiere?
Um I don't know. I mean I I I I gen yeah, I generally don't rank things anymore, like uh rate them. I was really kind of on board until like the battle really kicked off and like Reina was just Flying around screaming. Um Yeah. It was c I mean, it was good. It was look, it's nice to be back. Uh it was cool to be back in the world. Um, I love I love all the fucked up stuff on Team Green, like All of that I'm here for. Um Yeah, I know. It i it's an interesting start of the season. It definitely felt like they were clicking all the pieces that had been left over from last season like back into place. Yeah, fair enough. Fair enough. What do you think, Kate?
Um, I really enjoyed it and I typically don't enjoy anything nautical or having to do with uh naval battles. Um but yeah, I was kind of on board with everything, even the Raina stuff, which surprises me. Uh it did feel like we kind of like stip skipped a step with her where she was starving on a mountain and then suddenly is like flying into combat. Um But yeah, like most of my It picks are are just the usual G O T hot D nitpics of like, Why is Damon not Hanna's Dragon? How did the Northmen sneak up on the battlefield? Do they not have scouts? Like stuff like that that's like the sacrifices of logistics in service to a functioning screenplay. Um, which is in turn like in service to like v very expensive VFF effects.
Um but yeah, I'd give it a five out of five. I don't really have any complaints. Uh I didn't like it's not my favorite episode, but uh it's like a premiere uh I mean it was good. Like it was i uh yeah, it was great.

Um, I think I'll give it like a yeah, four or five, um It definitely felt like one of the stronger starts and had some sort of linear logic to it. And more cohesion than Other episodes like the flow I didn't I wasn't perturbed by but In a way it was almost like kinda lackluster as well, like for getting this big battle. I don't know, I kind of I felt nothing. It didn't feel like the stakes were that high. Maybe that's because I know the outcome. Um Or I'm just maybe reserving my own energy for later, but um But yeah, I I think maybe it's more on me than them that I that I feel that way. And I think the performances are strong.
Yeah, I mean maybe, you know, basically with a story we already know what is coming, sort of. So Sometimes that takes out of it, but they're definitely changing stuff up. Um, I I'll give this like a four 'cause it was really strong. They certainly Uh I don't know if they front loaded on the battles, but like they certainly packed it in here. Whereas at the end of last season, you know, things kinda ended much much softer than we expected. I you know, I think we discussed that on the um The preseason show, maybe that had to do partially to do with them, you know, cutting the season order and all that. Like maybe this is where it would have ended if they'd had two more episodes last season. But I really did not like the sheep stealer stuff like at all.
Um It just felt. It felt so quick. So I mean it's obvious like I don't like the fact that they are changing out nettles and you know, we've talked about this so much.
