How does the lightning‑round format set up the debate on Reddit vs. other social channels?
Now we're gonna move into what is one of my favorite times in the Voice of Search podcast, our lightning round. And so I'm gonna ask you some relatively quick questions on some of the topics we've been discussing and give me a quick response on how you see this future between Reddit versus Google and organic discovery and the entire future of kind of AI search and discovery. So the first one. Buy or sell. Other social channels will dominate over Reddit as an organic channel source in 2026.
Uh let me see. I would sell that one. I would say Reddit would continue to win.
Time for a one-minute break to hear from our sponsor, Previsible.
Why does the host believe Reddit will remain the top organic discovery source through 2026?
So you're looking for SEO help, then you got a couple of options. You could start replying to spam from agencies that claim they can get you to rank number one on Google. You can pay an hourly rate for a consultant who will inevitably nickel and dime you with hourly charges, or you can work with a cookie cutter agency to quickly launch a strategy-less project with low success rate. None of those sound very good. Now do they? Well, that's where Previsible's integrated consulting model comes in. Previsible draws from a collective 40 years of SEO and digital marketing experience to unlock your organic growth opportunities. They build custom solutions that combine strategy, technical expertise, content, and reporting to effectively operationalize SEO for your business.
Previsible's four-stage approach ensures that your SEO programs thrive.
What evidence does Danny Kirk share about Reddit’s partnership with Google and its AI training role?
By starting off with a strategy first approach. Then they support you in your efforts to create quality content, help you identify technical issues, and most importantly, they'll work with your cross-functional teams to integrate your SEO strategies to make sure that your SEO budget actually drives results, not just your agency's bottom line. So join brands like Yelp, eBay, Canva, Atlassian, Square, all who rely on the SEO consultant. At Previsible. For more information, go to previsible.io. That's previsible P-R-E-V-I-S-I-B-L-E.io.
Okay. Okay. Interesting.
How do reputation‑management and the ‘upvote democracy’ system turn Reddit discussions into SEO advantage?
I love that because it's it's a it's a tough, it's like it's like, you know, you got like seven eight hundred pound gorillas with like Facebook and Twitter and all these other or X and all these players versus Reddit. But to this point in 2025, Reddit is still the winner there, right? Like like buying away, right? You don't you don't see the Facebook information or data showing up. You don't see LinkedIn information or data showing up. You don't see X data. information showing up inside of AI responses. So so you're you're saying this is gonna stay true in 2026.
Yeah, and uh you know, I'm not a person that uses TikTok or Instagram, so a bit of a v biased opinion there.
What are the final takeaways and where can listeners connect with Danny Kirk and ReddiReach?
But um I I think a lot would have to change for that to change if we're just saying twenty twenty six, a lot would have to change in a couple months.
