Chapter 2: What challenges does Nathan face in his role as a boss?

Well, yeah, you know, Bruce McGill's the biggest fan. Her name starts with an N and ends with an Orma.
So Nathan, yeah. So she's like, yeah, you know, so Nathan, I told Nathan to show up. And guess what? Nathan showed up. He gave direction to his team. He docked his vessel. He did it in these conditions. I'm so proud of him. I know I've been tough on Nathan, but this proves pressure makes diamonds. Okay. Don't forget that guys. Pressure makes, that's a free one. Okay. Chapter 3: How does Captain Sandy guide Nathan through difficult situations?

How does she tell the whole – how does she tell the deck crew they still need work and they kind of suck? And then she gives him – she's like, great job. Great job. You did great. So now to make it less stressful, she's going to make him choose between these people. I see no reason to choose. Nobody's really proved themselves. Why does he need a lead deckhand? Why?
And there's only four charters left, and she even said, let's end on a high note. So at this point, why do you need the lead deckhand? The lead deckhand is – is ceremonial at best, right? Like, what's the point of the lead deckhand? You never even see the point of the lead. It never works out. So why even do this?

So everyone's getting dressed. Asha puts on a real interesting dress with like big poofy shoulders. It was not what I was expecting at all.
and i didn't get that either it looked better once they were out but when she was putting it on i was like what the hell everyone else is getting like you know putting on a crop top or like a little slinky dress and then she's like oh i'm a farm girl you know these big farm girl going to church type sleeves so funny um kathy doesn't feel well and um everyone's just getting ready and kathy asks nathan for hairspray and he's like i don't have any hairspray he closed the door he's like
I do have a hairspray, but only about 10 squeezes left. I'm not giving it to her.
I'm not giving it to anybody. That's a boss move. Yeah, but dumbass, you could just ask her to get it with provisions. Hello. Now you've ruined her dance. You notice that they're not even showing provisions anymore on this show? Yeah. No, it's not good. I want to see groceries being carried in.
It always makes me tired because I imagine doing it. Like I imagine it's like, oh, provisions and it takes 20 minutes. And it's like hauling crate after crate upstairs and downstairs. It's just the worst. And as you're holding the crates, you sort of like bump into a wall and your fingers get crammed between the crate and the wall. And it kind of hurts, but you have to keep on going.
Ugh, I hate it.
You know, I look at things a little more positively than you, as everybody knows. Just kidding. As everyone knows.

It feels like an umbilical cord that wasn't really earned, if you know what I'm saying. I just feel this pair of eyebrows behind me sucking away all my nutrients. Is that the kind of connection you mean?

Right. Have you done a full tally? Well, I guess there's Bajork or whatever his name is. Bajork, Bajork. And there's that guy, Ben. Not quite my physical types, but, you know, I do feel like they'd bring me some cold cuts once in a while for that deli they hang out in. So that's nice. But other than them, not a single man on the boat.
So you just want someone to kiss and touch. Exactly. Maybe someone that's right next to you. Oh, God, that would be wonderful if just any man was right next to me. Any man at all.
You know what I love? Just a man who could just bring me breakfast in bed. He'd honestly just cook for me. I'm sick of doing all the work. That's all I need, a man to cook for me. And I wish there could be just one of those on this boat.
So now they go to dinner. Everybody's complimenting each other. Joe and Nathan go to the bathroom together to have some boy talk, which is a thing on Below Deck they like to do now. Like, look, boys go to the bathroom, too, and talk.
Boy talk. Boy talk.
So Kathy talks to Kizzy. And so she's like, excuse me, what are the odds of you and Nathan kissing tonight? She's like, oh, probably very high. And then we won't talk for the next three days. It's just how I am.
