EP48: Amy's life changing 175lb weight loss story Today I am joined by Amy from Merseyside who has lost 12.5 stone (175 lbs) after realising she was missing out on being able to do all the things she wanted to as a young mum. Often, it can take a harsh reality check to realise just how bad our health or situation has become. Weight gain tends to happen over time, and we find ways to adjust and cope with the increasing level of difficulty of doing every day tasks like walking up the stairs. In this episode Amy shares how humiliation and the feeling of letting her daughter down at a theme park inspired her to make a change. Amy explains how she took that first step to join Slimming World after a number of months of declining offers to go with a friend. Finally she changed her mind and hasn't looked back since.
