I think it's $49 for two to go and play at Ainsbury through a large part of July. If you do like your golf and you like a good golf deal, and this is me talking, I'm not being paid to do this, go to Ainsbury and play. I hadn't played there until recently and went out there and and had a round, and I was so surprised how good it was.
I really, really enjoyed it. So if you love your golf and you're looking for somewhere different to play that's a really good deal, have a go at playing in Ainsbury. It's long, so either play off the front tees or bring your driver and hope you're in good form with it. But I really enjoyed playing there and looking forward to going back there again tonight. It's exciting that Cam is coming back. We know that Rory is going to be here for the Australian Open, but to have someone of Cam's quality confirmed nice and early in the year must be particularly pleasing.
Yeah, we're really happy across both events. You know, the BMW Australian PGA Championship, which will be played at the Lakes this year, the week before the Capital.com Australian Open. But for Cam to come back, it sort of starts saying to all the players, hey, we've got a big end of year here in Australia, you know, with both events. Cam's got some, you know, he's very determined to win the Australian Open and and he wouldn't mind being one of the few to win four Australian PGA Championships as well.
Did it help moving it to the lakes, the PGA, for him to confirm nice and early?
Yeah, I think we're all trying. Golf Australia's done a great job, and we're trying as a tour and the PGA of Australia just to get some certainty. And around our partners, our government partners, the fans, The fans, the ticket sales are going really well for both events, but they still want to know who's playing. And for Cam and his management group, we say thank you to them because they said we'll commit early. And I think posters going over to the Open at Royal Birkdale next week, I think we'll come back with quite a few names of who'll come down and play both events in our Summer of Golf at the end of the year.
I wanted to talk to you about that. Your role as CEO, obviously James Sutherland's role as CEO of Golf Australia. How big is it, say, the British Open to get over there and try and get to as many players or players managers as possible to say, hey, come down. We've got Rory confirmed for the Open. Cam Smith's confirmed for both. Get down and be part of it. We want to build this into a real festival of golf at the end of the year.
Yeah, it is important. And, you know, we work really closely with James and his team. But as a tour, you know, the relationship we have with Golf Australia, we work with all the players. So Nick Dasty, who leads our tour, he'll be working with the DP World Tour player liaison. They've probably got 15 or 20 meetings set up next week. James and I just more or less get involved as required. But, you know, the players, they'll be sort of wanting to talk about coming to both tournaments, coming to one, where they're going to stay, other experiences while they're in Australia, because they all love coming to Australia. And I think Sydney is a new destination. We've had a great five years up in Brisbane. the Melbourne Sandbelts.
So destinations are very important for them to come down, play and win our major tournaments down here in Australia, but also bring their families down as well.
