Dr Philippa has a particular interest in children's, women's and sexual health, having written multiple books on these topics including ‘; an owners guide’, 'The ‘M’ Word – everything you need to know about the Menopause', and ‘Doctors Get Cancer Too’. This is her honest memoir where she shares her journey of being diagnosed with bowel cancer revealing how it actually feels to be sat on the other side of the desk and to be the cancer patient rather than to take on her normal role as doctor. Philippa is often seen on ITV’s This Morning, and various other TV and radio programs sharing her medical wisdom in a straightforward and easy to understand manner, whilst often dispelling medical myths.
