Difficult co-workers are a fact of life for many people. But Luis Von Ahn, the boss of Duolingo, believes he may have found a way to avoid hiring nasty workers. Mr Von Ahn told a podcast called The Burnouts that Duolingo paid drivers taking candidates to interviews to give feedback about the way they were treated by them. The logic is that if a person is mean to their driver, then they're probably going to be mean to the people they work with. Mr Von Ahn told the podcast that Duolingo had followed through on this.
