Are we ready? All right. So the Loudoun County Board of Zoning Appeals is now in session. Before we begin, I'm gonna ask everybody to check their phones, put them in a silent mode. Um if you do not, it will one be embarrassing and two it interrupts our proceedings. So if everybody could please check that. Um this board is composed of five members and two alternates. Present tonight are Nan Forbes, Mr. Gray, Mr. Kramer, and I need to read something with regard to Mr. Clark's participation. He is participating remotely. Pursuant to Code of Virginia section 2.2 3708.2 and the Board of Zoning Appeals participation policy, Mr. Clark. Mr. Clark is requested to participate in this public hearing by electronic communication from a remote location that is not open to the public.

Mr. Clark has communicated that he cannot attend this meeting due to business out of town that prevents his physical attendance at this meeting, and he will be joining the meeting from Orlando, Florida. As required by law, a physical quorum of the Board of Zoning Appeals is present in the boardroom, and the members of Arrange for the voice of Mr. Clark to be heard by all persons in the boardroom. Mr. Clark made the request within the timeframe required by policy and the county attorney's office has determined that his request meets the requirements for remote participation. The Board of Zoning Appeals will record in its minutes the reason for Mr. Clark's remote participation and the location from which he participated.

All right, so we are a quasi-judicial body and an arm of the court. We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month after each appeal has been duly advertised in a local publication for two consecutive weeks, after each property has been duly posted, and after all adjacent landowners have been notified by certified mail. It takes three affirmative votes from this board for a matter to pass the board. If you wish to speak, please sign a I think they're pink slips with our secretary, Stephanie Caps, so that your name can be called at the appropriate time. For each appeal, we will hear from staff first and then the applicant or the attorney, each of whom will have 10 minutes. Other speakers will have three minutes.

And we ha and the second one is the variance for the storage shed. Um Normally I would do these in the order that they're listed. Um I'm I just wonder if the storage shed issue might take less time and if there is any objection to us doing that one first, um so that those folks do not have to wait while we go through a very lengthy Um review of a sign ordinance. How do how does the board feel about that? Mr. Gray?
