What is the purpose of the Humanity demo and who are the participants?

Unknown 0:04
Yeah. Perfect. Well, thank you for joining everybody. I know uh me, Sue, and Noah had a uh conversation beforehand too, and we're looking to get kind of a general overview of the humanity demonstration here. So that's why I brought in um Travis. Travis, you wanna do a quick little intro with us?
Travis Feltz 0:20
Uh sure. Yeah. Very nice to meet everyone from the county. Uh I'm Travis Feltz. I am a uh principal solutions consultant here at TCP. That sounds like an incredibly fancy title. I promise it's not, really. Uh it's just Basically a really fancy term for someone who's worked here for a really, really long time, right? So uh I worked in support for a while. I worked in services for a while. Uh, and then the sales department said, Hey, there's a job where I get to talk about it all day and tell customers if what they're looking for is something we can or can't do, as well as what I've seen that's worked really, really well with other departments and things like that. So um I promise I'm more than just a walking instruction manual, right?
Travis Feltz 1:07
Um, but uh very excited to talk with you all and And uh see how we can help and and and possibly show some of that stuff too. But yeah, very nice to meet y'all.
Unknown 1:19
Thank you, Trip. Um, no, Sue. I know um the last conversation we kind of went over to what we were looking to gain out of this too. I know we have multiple departments on here as well. So this is kind of gonna be a little bit generalized. Um, but are there any specifics that we wanna see? Um anybody can chime in here too from any department. Any specifics that you're looking to see on this demonstration, just so Travis can actually hit on that or just go a little bit more in depth in um some areas that we're really focusing on.
Noah 1:45
Um So we could probably start, you know, with just a a brief overview of the the main features for folks that have not seen humanity before. Um And then I will have some specific features that I'll want you to to point out um after kind of a you know The the the brief overview.
Unknown 2:06
Okay. Okay. All right, well with uh that, Trab, do you wanna go uh go ahead and kickstart it?
Travis Feltz 2:12
Uh yeah, I can I can be set loose on the software from here. Um actually no, I uh that that actually raised a question um from me. How many departments have seen our humanity scheduling tool before?
Noah 2:26
So we're we're all in the same department, parks and recreation. Um, we have multiple divisions within parks and recreation that we're looking at here. So we're we're a we are a large and diverse department. Um, so the folks that you're gonna be seeing here today um might work with some of our after school programs, or they might be in our parks department, or they might be in our sports department. Um or working at one of our community centers or rec centers. Um so And uh we have we have dozens of different um facilities around Loudoun County, which is a fairly large county in northern Virginia.
Unknown 3:09
Yep. Yes, sir. I can go ahead and attest to that too. I've probably worked with about five or six facilities too. So we've had a a few people see this in a few different lights as well. Some have been pretty uh tailored, some have been general. So Um yeah, we've done that at some points with other the facilities as well.
Travis Feltz 3:26
Okay.
Noah 3:26
Yeah. Perfect. Humanity is currently in use by our three rec centers and has been for a number of years. So um w we we are many of us are are familiar with the program. This is a general overview for for some that maybe have not used humanity, maybe have used other products and to see if humanity would fit the need for them or if it maybe has features that they hadn't considered. So that's what the purpose of the initial overview will be. And then after we've kind of gone through that and let people ask a couple of questions, we'll go into some of the specific features that I would like you to highlight and I have questions about.
Travis Feltz 4:04
Okay. Perfect. And yeah, one thing, um you all know this, but parks and rec departments Y'all are weird, right? You know, you've got so many different types of people doing so many different types of things.
