Hold on. Let me uh timer. All right, anytime you're ready.
Thank you. Um hi, my name is Denise Raoul. I am a lifelong resident of Loudoun County. Some of you guys um familiar faces in the room. It's wonderful to see you guys. Um I'm here this morning as a person that participated in the very beginning of zoning ordinance comment as a part of the RADC, which for me was fascinating. I learned so much about the community that I live in that I absolutely had no idea existed. Um throughout this process I've kind of watched and and listened and seen the direction that has kind of commenced with now what we're doing wrapping it up, hopefully soon. Um Some of the things that have kind of come to concern from my perspective as a business owner and a resident. Um And it's something that has come up in several of the meetings with TLUC is enforcement.
Um And it's a sticky slope. It's something that I don't know that we can fully address zoning change if we don't address the manner in which we handle um infraction. I understand that that's a a lengthy process. It takes a mu amount of staff. It it takes so much. But what is it that we're gonna accomplish in this room? And throughout the entirety of this process. if we don't have an actual plan for how we address this with the businesses, with the communities, with the development, with existing residents. existing business and then as we grow. It's inevitable. Growth is happening, but I think one of the things that the community as a whole is interested in is that planned growth, that planned development, those parameters that we're setting right now in order to coexist, right, in our our spaces, you know, do what we want with our land, live happily, um, move where we want.
All of those things. Um There are levels of enforcement as we know from the county and then from the state. And It's been discussed in several of these meetings that there's loopholes that we're trying to close. What's what's it look like on the other end of this? What is the county's diligence in making this happen? Where is that line? Um I've talked with some of you in this room regarding things that I have seen transpire local to my property in Hamilton. Um And it's of concern. it is imperative for this group to remember that these these things that we're doing While the intention is great. What does that look like on the other side? What is the county's responsibility? What is the state's responsibility?
Because sometimes those things get bounced back and forth. into a no man's land. We've seen it with um you know the growth of limited breweries. What what is that? What does that look like? This is I think that's something that we can reference in this room because it has been The the the big change in this county, I think, since this процес started.
Stephanie 4:56
Thank you. Anyone else for public input? Any disclosures? Seeing none. Uh the action report there's two things.

What concerns did the public speaker raise about flood‑plain fencing and the 600‑sq‑ft limit?

Stephanie 5:12
There's One typo in disclosures under Dale, she attended a farm tour. Attended a tour with farm groups instead of at and then Stephanie Embler, the meeting attendants. I think we have some people kits that we just need to clean up like Bill Junda and Yeah. Um But other than that, um I think we need to confirm Bill under E that you seconded the I did.
