All right, thank you, good sir. So today we have seven pro seven proclamations to proclaim May twenty twenty four is foster care month. Diplic claim May twenty twenty four is Building Safety Month. To proclaim May twenty twenty four Historic Preservation Month. To proclaim May twenty twenty four Treatment Docket Month. To proclaim May twelfth and may eighteenth, twenty twenty four, National Substance Abuse Prevention Week. to proclaim May thirteenth um through nineteenth. National Salvation Army Week and to proclaim. May fifteenth. National Peace Officers Memorial Day. Oh and wait and one more proclaim um the week of May twelfth to eighteenth, National Police Week. Since we have a number of proclamations before we we have a vote, I just want to make the public aware that I'm just gonna read a brief synopsis rather than the entire proclamation um this week and next because we have a number um of proclamations next week as well, so that we can save time and move through the meeting.
So do I have a motion to approve agenda items four A through four G? So move, madam Chair.

All right, the first one is foster care mark. Uh Miss Tierney, you wanna your team? Ms. Wilson Chair of the Advisory Board. All right, thank you, ladies. As of twenty twenty three, ninety-nine children were in need of care. Eighty-six local families volunteered themselves and their homes to care for these children's children. We have thirty-seven DSS employees who work with these children and families. So I wanna thank the employees and families who provide a safe haven for our youth. Miss Tierney, do you have anything you would like to say?
Yes. Good afternoon, uh Chair Jefferson and the Board of County Supervisors.

We'd like to thank you for this proclamation and for recognizing the families who provide foster care in Prince Wayne County.

All right, the next one is Building Safety Month, Mr. O'Connor. Or if there's anyone else for the Building Safety Month proclamation, please come to the front.
All right, thank you. Our county employees work year round to ensure build to ensure buildings are safely maintained, um built and maintained. Building safety month um promotes awareness, to educate the public on what the codes are and how they protect citizens from harm, especially natural disasters, and what code and safety officials do to help them. This year's theme, Mission Impossible, outlines the step of preparing and executing a safety plan to make sure our homes and communities are safe. I'd like to thank the officials in the building departments and fire departments for the work that they do to protect lives. Do you have anything you would like to say?
