And it's the approval of a grant from the Wade Brommel Youth Sports Scholarship Program in the amount of three thousand five hundred and fifty dollars to reimburse the Santa Clara Police Activities League for eligible scholarships for the twenty twenty five softball season.

Okay, so we're back. So um for those of you um want a refresher, so Wade Brummel scholarship program was initiated um by the commission and approved by council in twenty fifteen. They initially started um to collect dollars for non um non-resident player um of athletes using our athletic facilities so mainly our fields and our pools. Um the money was put has been pooled into a scholarship program. The commission in the past has um given out um funding to the the youth sports nonprofits and then um Back in twenty twenty five, the commission initiated a project to rehabilitate the I call it rehabilitate, but that's not just revise the scholarship. Rehabilitate is a that's a that's an okay word. Revise the program.

So next fiscal year that $25 will go up. Really hasn't changed since 2015. And so that now is um gonna start changing.
