So on March 21st, we hosted SC Hacks in the team center. And it was a really successful event. We started the day out with five teams competing. And unfortunately, we did end up with two teams dropping out. But we awarded each of the three teams a separate prize.

So we had most creative, best presented, and most overall. We also had all the committee members participating in volunteering and running the event. And we also had Alyssa and Ibrahim also volunteering their time. Oh, in our committee we have Brian, Drew, Namark, Asirka, and Mateo who started today. in their way so i think it was a good event yeah and you know just to add on to the overall feedback that we got from the event so different teams had different amounts of feedback but it was all about the same so people really appreciated how like their rooms were separated so that they had their own private or like own space to be able to work and collaborate in a efficient manner They also love the fact that they can have the freedom to use whatever resources available to them online. So that means the utilization of AI and all those types of AI models because most other hackathons, they restrict access on that. So allowing them to have that ability to have more creative freedom of what they're able to create with the prompt, with something that they really like,

Some things that we need to take into consideration for next year is one thing was having more participants compete because that was something that some teams talked about and they also would appreciate more people would know about this event through other forms of promotion because They mainly got the event through social media and whatnot, but they did say that they still heard it word of mouth. So that was one of the things that we need to focus on for next year. But I think the most important thing, or the best thing that everyone talked about was the food. They said the food was extremely, extremely good. They love being able to know that there's a lunch and a dinner for them and having snacks out for them the entire time.
