Okay. Um so State Bill seventy-nine was recently passed by this or recently signed into law by the governor um as of October tenth, I believe. Or was yes, October tenth. Um, so we are still getting our Hands around it, but I wanted to give You a brief presentation on some of the implications of State Bill seventy nine as we understand it today. Uh, knowing that our attorneys are still evaluating it as well for its implications on our on our work here. So the intent of the bill is to increase the supply of affordable housing. Um specifically around uh train stations or other um Transportation facilities. And so it's being really strategic with where it's allowing for this greater residential density. So the intention of this bill is to

improve housing affordability and then have environmental benefits as well. Whether reducing greenhouse gases or an increasing transportation efficiency. Um So key provisions as part of this bill are the mandatory upzoning near transit, requiring local governments to upzone land near rail stations and rapid bus corridors.
