Seeing none, we can move on to general business. So we can talk about the work plan where commissions or committees can give updates to their progress. We can start with civic engagement. Civic engagement met last Monday, which was December 1st, and we made a good amount of progress on the new a new resident welcome package we also made a big stride of translating it fully to spanish which we are looking to get approved by somebody who works for the city and can verify that it's accurate and things like that and i don't know if somebody else wants to continue the report but um definitely made significant progress for the resident welcome package. Also sort of mapped out what actions that we could take coming into 2026 with sort of reconvening with the chief coroner at the county for the Northland demonstration.

And so we'll be sending out emails around in January and February to do so, just to make sure that we have time to clarify communication between hopefully the library and . And then one last thing, we did decide that we're going to start with just putting the link on, like trying to get on the city website and the Youth Activity Center website before actually making physical copies or expanding it beyond that. Would Youth Empowerment like to give their update? Yes, last community meeting we were analyzing on the projects that were undertaken as well as a general timeline of what they would do. We would enact each specific event.

Today we are focusing on our first event which is going to be sort of media focused covering what can you do with the city's making some sort of schedule on what we're going to give back and all of those things over the weekend. Okay. Lynn, last one. Could community building please give an update? I can start. So for community building, we decided that we were going to pivot from our multicultural night market that we were initially planning on doing and doing like a career or a job fair instead. that would be oriented towards teenagers. And so we are in the process of planning that right now, and we're trying to come up with a timeline for that. um as for our hackathon we wanted it to be early next year like early 2026 i'm thinking maybe like february or march um so we're trying to transform all of our material that we had ready from last term into things that we can send out to people for this term and we are also we started working on our we are not really strangers interview questions

and we're currently trying to find a time that works with all the commissioners in our committee to figure out when we want to go to the senior center and ask the seniors that question and when we decide a date that works for all of us who are planning on reaching out to the rest of the commission for anyone that's interested in attending
