So it's not going to be presented as a housing crisis.
It's not a crisis.
It's beneficial.
If you own property, particularly if you own it outright, if you don't have a mortgage and if you have 200 properties or you have, you know, a huge amount of wealth that's been hoarded,
It's not a crisis.
It's beneficial.
That's right.
For housing prices to go up.
It's beneficial for rent to go up.
So why would they report on – why would they be for any budget that was going to help young people genuinely unless they're investors?
Because apparently we suddenly really care about young people only if they own three to 50 properties.
It's crazy.
But there was also the freak out over the weekend about the auction clearance rate in Sydney.
I think it's 51%.
And all these people are going to go and say, Labor's fucked the economy.
And I go, well.
It's probably the rate rise that's done that.
Yes, probably the rate rise and also that's how we fix the housing crisis, no?
