there's not a whole lot, there's not a lot of feedback in that relationship.
Uh, so I think it's a really, uh, it's a really good place to, to wrap up this dialogue.
And in this question, I hope the listener that again, originally submitted this on the other show.
And, uh, I, I will share, I will message them back and say, Hey, answered your question.
Go check it out here over on the success podcast.
So get a little cross pollination of listenership in there.
But, uh, it was a really good question and I appreciate us tackling it here today, Chad.
So.
So the first thing, in a weird way, investment precedes return.
So I need to invest the time back into my team.
I have admittedly
I'm putting myself in the position of the listener, right?
I have admittedly had my hands off the wheel and it's been on autopilot for a period of time.
And while that has served the practice thus far,
you're now encountering, you as a listener that submitted this question, you're now encountering something that you've never had before, which is an optical in an office that's three and a half times the size of what it's been.
So you're going to have to just start doing some things that you've never done before.
And before you throw a hand grenade, figuratively speaking, into the middle of optical and just blow things up and shake everything up with a team, that one thing that we didn't hit on here that was in the question, but we didn't cover a whole lot in our dissection of the question is,
There's a team that's largely reaching retirement age.
So there is a wisdom transfer, whether for the things that are going well in optical, it is incumbent upon you as the owner to start aggregating and curating that knowledge, institutionalizing it into the practice.
As you go through this process, right back to the don't ask why in the first meeting, just go through this process of fact finding, curating the knowledge and helping with the institutional transfer of what has been working well and what can scale in the practice as this listener, as this owner goes from 2000 to 7000.
