But the shrapnel from the engine tears a hole in the plane.
And one person gets fatally sucked into that hole.
You know, and now the plane is dropping 20,000 feet in five minutes.
And everyone thinks they're plummeting to their death.
People are writing, getting on Wi-Fi.
You can still get on Wi-Fi and just sending you know goodbye messages to their family.
And so she had to be incredibly confident
To land this point.
She did a just incredible job.
But she also did two other things that really make her a leader.
The first is that she got on the phone, on the intercom, and she said 10 words, straightforward words that were about as transformative as 10 words could ever be.
She said, We are not going down, we're going to Philly, Philadelphia.
And so what she was signaling was, yes, we are dissenting.
Indeed.
But there's a reason why we're descending.
I know exactly what I'm doing.
Right.
She helped them make sense of that experience.
