Now the sequel features a my obligatory mention of David Cronenberg, good performance by David Cronenberg as the dying criminal patriarch in that Toronto shot film.

But uh the final girl gets a sister in that movie.

And the other one I like, I can't remember the character name, but I like uh is it Jess?

Karoth and Happy Death Day.

think is is is that's a very it's almost great.

I put it in the almost great category.

There's things about it that don't quite work, but she's funny because she has the existential frustration of knowing she's the final girl and having to just psych herself up time and time again, which is like this is just gonna keep happening to me.

It's very funny.

Yeah, I mean I remember back back in I mean a couple of years ago.

I mean, I thought the way that the first X built itself this sequel or kind of prequel out of nowhere.

With Pearl was pretty good.

I thought it was amazing.

I thought I thought that was very efficient.

Yeah.

I mean, I wrote about Maxine or whatever it was for for Ring Roman.

I don't like that movie at all.

But I mean, it is close in some ways to something like Miasma, where it's not so much that its ideas are different.

It's just that that little matter that sometimes matters of, you know.

form and execution and style and tone, which miasma has.
