In fact, like just the New York Times Instagram page just did one yesterday where it was just simple like garlicky anchovy breadcrumbs and pasta.

I was like, that looks so good.

But her recipes are so easy to follow, simple, but with huge results.

And I don't think I've ever made anything of hers that didn't come out.

On my birthday?

Well, let me think about that.

I mean...

Traditionally on my birthday, I like to go out to like a nice restaurant that I wouldn't normally get to go out to.

But as I get older, I feel like I'm not that interested anymore in tasting menus and eating like 15 courses of like rich food and then coming home and feeling disgusting.

That's kind of gone out the window.

I mean, this year we went to Le Vaudor, which is this new French restaurant.

Actually, it's an old French restaurant on the Upper East Side that was just revamped.

And so like we ate snails and we ate all that kind of stuff.

So I wish I had a simple answer to your question, but I guess the answer is that on my birthday, I usually go to the restaurant that we don't allow ourselves to go to throughout the year because it's too she-she or too fancy.

So that's the day that I let myself just go for it.
