Like a regular slot at WFAN where it was, you know, nights or anything like that, like 7 to 12 or middays.

We talked about doing different things and eventually more opportunities at FAN would be presented, but...

You know, I was working weekends.

The one regular slot was I did Sunday nights, 8 to 12.

I did a lot of overnights, a lot of fill-in.

I was working part-time at FAN, part-time at Fox Sports Radio.

And there was a studio in New York where I could do that.

That was great.

But Steve Cohen was one of the executive producers at WFAN.

And he left in March, no, in May of 2004 to go to Sirius Radio.

Before the merger, he was going to run Sirius NFL Radio.

And, you know, part of his deal was he couldn't take anyone from WFAM.

And I knew that, but I called him and I said, I want to meet with you about this.

And Steve likes to say I was his number one overall pick.

And we got a hamburger at the now defunct Heartland Brewery.

And I left FAN.

And I still worked there for a couple of years, filling in on the weekends.

I got written up a couple times in Bob Raisman's column, maybe a little bit too much for Steve's liking.

So finally in 2006, he was like, you're not going to be doing that anymore.

I'm like, okay.
