more control over the quality of content that you have, where the primacy is how much you want to use it and not how much they want you to use it.

regulate your access to social media.

It's essentially a token based exchange, which essentially means that the digital app is

is simply establishing your details and your age.

And then it disregards all of the personally identifiable material when Meta comes asking for it and just says, yes, I can validate that this person is over the age of 16.

That's the idea behind the plan.

Even if that is technically sound, and there are questions over it, but even if that is technically sound,

There are still questions over whether you should have to submit your passport to your digital app to use Facebook or, by the way, or maybe WhatsApp.
