Yeah, I mean, obviously the basics in regards to how you want spousal support calculated, the duration you want spousal support, whether or not it goes both ways, how you want to handle debt, how you want to handle real estate.
I really do think that people should have some type of provision that links to wills, just so you kind of know what you're expecting.
I also think it's very smart to decide who gets to stay in the family home in the event of a divorce and for how long.
Especially when there's kids, it gets really messy and child custody proceedings can go on for a very long time.
And one parent can definitely alienate the other if that person has moved out.
First, go to therapy.
Go to therapy so you can have these conversations and be like, listen, this really pissed me off.
And that's okay.
But just being I'm like, I will beat this dead horse till I'm blue in the face.
You need to be communicating.

I understand why it would feel adversarial during those times.
Yeah, it's hard.
Like, it's tumultuous and that's uncomfortable.
But how do you connect, you know?
Listen, I think looking at it from a it's us against the problem is a very sweet and romantic way to look at it.
But I also think it's not realistic when somebody literally wants like half of your life, right?
I mean, it's just like it's just no like it's just that's just not the case.
