So then I went around all the motorcycle bays, not in any of them.

And then I thought, maybe it's in my garage.

And then for about a year I was thinking, did I just misplace it or is it nicked?

But anyway, I never saw it again.

Just covered in moss and cobwebs.

I love that bike though.

But no, I haven't had a bike for a long time.

Well, the premise of the show is you get points for being interesting.

QI is quite interesting.

It doesn't matter if you're right or not.

In fact, the questions are designed so you can't get them right.

And I'm the regular panelist.

And it turns out Stephen Fry was the original host and I was the only regular.

Normally on those things you have two team captains, right?

i thought why am i the only regular and then after about four years of it i realized that i was the dunce the class of dunce who fell into every trap we've got everything wrong it was always there which meant that the three guest panelists could always relax you might look stupid but you're never going to look as stupid as this guy

And I was so stupid.

It was the classic case of if you don't know who the patsy in the room is, it's you.

That was me until about series D. And then I sort of rebelled.

I said, I'm not going to answer all the stupid questions.

And then the producer came to me and said, please be stupid because then if you give the stupid answer and the klaxon goes off when you've said something that's blindingly obvious but wrong.
