You know, it certainly strikes me, you know, I know we're going to talk about our own divisions on this island.
But, you know, when you look at, you know, the evidence of climate change all around us, that it's not the first thing on the agenda of all governments at the moment seems shocking.
No, not really.
I mean, I can just vividly remember meeting John for a coffee and him saying, you know, Britain seemed to have stumbled into Brexit and we could stumble into a border poll without really thinking about it and the repercussions.
And I, I think, like many people on this island, you know, I had a kind of romantic vision of a united Ireland.
You know, hadn't really thought it through.
You know, my own grandfather was a nationalist MP, pre-partition.
And
You know, so, you know, you have this kind of that this is some sort of dream of a united Ireland, you know, that's good for everyone and will be inclusive.
But actually, when I start to tease it through with John and talk about the reality of that, I really haven't thought about it.
And that's always a good starting point for any film because we felt, well, let's put this discussion on the table and let's tease it out.

I mean, I suppose when we started the project, it was all about the future.
