And I suppose, you know, we can't really see our island in isolation from what's happening in the world.
Those days are gone.
You know, the old days of, you know, home rule is Rome rule is long dead.
But I think mentioning the vision thing, there is also a very positive thing here.
You know, you can look at this in a very positive way, that there is potentially a clean slate for everybody on this island.
To forge something exciting, new, visionary, you know, that faces up to all the kind of global challenges and the local and national challenges too.

I mean, that's something that a couple of people flagged and surprised me.
But of course, it's true.
I think I think what everybody was agreed on is, is that whatever happens, the vast population on this island need to agree on the future.
You know that it can't be something that just slips through, you know.
And and I think we have to do it alone.
You know, I think looking to London, you know, certainly I can remember distinctly interviewing John Major in London at the time of the Boris Johnson kind of circus government.
And, you know, you felt Britain was in complete chaos and that Ireland didn't.
You could have been talking about Somalia.
No, I mean, most documentaries like this feel like a privilege because you get to sit down with people and shoot the breeze.
And I have to say, most people, with the exception of the DUP, who for those very reasons wouldn't engage because they don't want to acknowledge the debate.
Of course, much diminished now.
But most people were very happy to engage.
And I think most people, again, agreed that this is something we need to look at.
