No, I went a couple of times.

I went a couple of times.

That was like my intro to therapy.

And then my co-writer, Laura Veltz, who you probably know.

Yeah, she's a legend and just one of the kindest human beings.

And she introduced me to my therapist.

Oh, nice.

Yeah, so she was like, you need to see my girl.

And it changed my life.

I started doing EMDR.

Oh.

And that was a massive shift for me.

So is that where you go back and you talk to your child?

So that's a lot of where I think note to self kind of originated from because I was able to go back into these moments that I maybe didn't even remember.

But through like following the breadcrumb trail of emotions, you get back to these moments where it's like, wow, that really cemented

this pattern in my life this core belief of like you can't show emotion you have to be strong like that moment in the first verse a moment in the first verse where it's like you know your parents are fighting your younger brothers are crying your children like that was a memory that I had come up and I had this vivid memory of like my parents when they were going through something like really fighting um

I had two younger brothers, one younger brother.

And then the other one was just a baby.

And like, he was little, little.

And, um, I just, my instinct in that moment was like, grab my brothers.
