Like for bench, mostly like the plan was to just open really light because w one, the refing is hard and the one thing for me that I've been struggling with a little bit that I'm trying to find my way is that I know I can do a bench because the bench rule specifically, which I think a lot of people may understand, doesn't say that you can't sink.

You can sink, but you can't use your body.

And so I basically I don't use the leg drive anymore.

And that is why

My bench also has to come down a lot from now.

But so I wanted an opener that I could literally do Larson press on and sink like crazy, like all the way down and still like press.

That was the plan for the opener.

Because if they call me for because we don't know exactly how they're gonna call the upper thrust and when you're sinking, because some people may be like the sinking is not okay, although they specifically said that sinking is still approved.

And but then some people may look at the body movement and for me when I sink a lot and I press it with just my upper body and I don't use my legs, the chest still comes back up after I've passed the chest.

So you know it can look a little bit weird.

And so that was where I was like, how are they gonna impress that?

And if I am perfectly still and not sink too much, then depth is more borderline.

And I was more concerned about the depth.

depth calls than the new rule and it was depth calls that got me the most.

Although the jury did say that it was upper body thrust on the first as well.

Um but it was mostly depth that it was borderline.

And and that's what I have to improve on.

But so we just wanted to take a really light opener that I could do no matter what.

So we did one fifteen, got our red, got overturned.
