Crazy.
No, but so that was a bit funny.
Um but so that was basically the plan.
I didn't need more and like looking hindsight
it was the good call 'cause like I don't need to hit a world record total at this meet.
Like it w I would have needed to if it needed to in order to win, but at this point I didn't need to.
We could say that for Sheffield and it also allowed me to be able to pull a crazy deadlift. 'Cause if I would have been on a good total, done more in bench, you know, then I would have had to go lower maybe on the deadlift to not hit a
you know, too big of a total.
So in the end it turns out pretty well.
And that's why we went so conservative to just make sure we get a bench in especially when we don't know about the rules, just make a small, small jump.
And then for the last one, let's just do another s really, really small jump.
Honestly, I used to approach it like squat because I used to be a terrible squatter.
I've always been like one of the last to go out for squat and I've been a bad squatter like previously and look now I was the last one to open and squat and I actually ended up very close to the world.
So it's just like I and a squad you have Cyril like you can't cheat and squat it.
You can't do like anything.
It's just pure strength.
And I still manage to get it up.
So I'm gonna approach my bench the same way.
If I could do that, I just need to get stronger for bench.
And then for me, I do have like um I call him my mentor 'cause he's been with me since I started powerlifting.
