I'll try to keep it short, but basically, I want to thank the public for being here and speaking and really trying to address and trying to push us to do the right thing.

I think that sometimes, you know, listening to our constituents is something that's very important.

I can tell you that in District 1, we have a...

you know, folks who might be better off and some who are not.

I could tell you that there's people that I've talked to who are a little bit afraid, not a little bit, a lot afraid to be in District 1 because of the activity that's really concentrated in that area.

So definitely this is something that even though we can't guarantee people's safety, but we can try to move to make sure that we don't use our resources against them.

And I wanna thank the city staff for

for trying to get this in front of us as soon as possible i know that they there's a lot on their plates and um as as we work uh to uh to provide the safety for our residents and our visitors something that's important you know our chief of police is uh was at 8 a.m up in san francisco so um

I know he's working hard to make sure that our residents are safe and that he's gonna not only comply, but he's already complying with our California Values Act and the trust act that was passed in 2014.

So just wanna thank the council for supporting this.

I know that I would hope to get an unanimous vote.

I think we'll get there.

It's not perfect.

We're moving forward.

We're gonna be collaborating in the future.

This is much more than just the stadium, the event zone, but the city.

And it's a regional effort.

I think that we support each other and we need to keep this communication.

If it's a new communication that some people find, it's something that we desperately have to make sure that we continue this and improve on this and really move forward to do that.

And as far as Native American, I do consider myself Native American, Council Member Park.
