That's a very interesting take on this. matched

My um analysis on the root cause of it of the problem is the following. matched

I believe that since we were very young, we were always told to be better than somebody else, right? matched

So whether you're at school, unfortunately sometimes your parents or your teachers would tell you, Oh, look at this other person, he has better grades than you, right? matched

So it's you're not trying to be better than matched

the previous version of yourself, you're trying to be better than this one other person. matched

Then you go into university and to the workforce. matched

So then you have this new word um assigned to you, which is it's the word competition. matched

You're competing with another business. matched

Oh. matched

And it's not about being great, it's about being the best. matched

And I think framing things and being the best is where the unhealthy side of uh the whole aspect comes into into fruition. matched

What's the point of being the very best? matched

Like matched

Um, if you if you take this at a company level, I think there's space for almost, you know, all companies to be successful, right? matched

But also at an individual level. matched

The fact let's uh just take this podcast, for example, the fact that somebody else's podcast or a number of podcasts are hugely successful, that doesn't necessarily mean that mine won't be successful. matched

So I think um, at least in my perspective, a good reframe would be rather than trying to be the best, whether it's at an individual level or company level, whatever it is that you're building in your matched

your life. matched
