I talk to every member of Congress I can, and I hear from them in quiet conversations

Yeah, we're watching this race.

We want to see if this is a issue that you can win on standing with people or if the money just swamps everything.

And the lesson that will be learned by members of Congress, if the super PAC wins, is run the other way, is don't actually touch this.

Maybe you can say a speech on it.

Maybe you can go on a podcast about it, but don't try to pass the bill.

Also, final question, what are three books you'd recommend to the audience?

So the first is my favorite book of all time, and I know you have thoughts on this book, but it's A Theory of Justice by John Rawls.

I think it does the best job of setting up a broad framework of rights of humans while also understanding when inequalities could be justified, and I think it's the best place to start for political philosophy.

And I know you've tried it a few times.

I will point out that in the intro, he says, you know, this is a third of the book that you have to read to get the basics of it.

And here's the half of the book you have to read to really deeply understand it.

And the rest is, you know, for the academics.

And so I'd encourage you to give it another try.

So A Theory of Justice by John Rawls.

The second one is World Eaters by Katherine Bracey, which is marketed as this like deeply anti-VC book, but I actually think is written by a tech insider and a much more nuanced approach to the incentives that venture capital sets up.

And that is always for growth, growth, growth, and don't think about the social consequences.
