Like if I'm posting a poll just so I could reach out to you and say, hey, I heard you're interested.
That's a bad poll question.
But ask things you're genuinely curious about and then source from the engagement.
You know, and I think that LinkedIn is an excellent platform to add value to other people without necessarily expecting anything in return.
You know, for me, you know, I know I post a lot of memes, but I do it because whatever, if I can make someone laugh for a second in the middle of the day, like, hey, job well done.
But also to Kadri's point, when she's talking about commenting, you can add a lot of value without necessarily introducing your candidates to a client of yours.
You add value every time you talk about salaries in the market.
Honestly, whenever I see a client prospect that I'm not working with and they have a job posting, but I do like the company, I'll share their job posting, especially if it's posted by someone that I already kind of have a relationship with in the organization.
Even though you could argue that like directly negatively impacts me, right?
Because that's a position I can't fill.
But they see when I repost, it just says a lot to give with little regard to what you might get back.
And that's the kind of relationship I'd like to have with the people I'm connecting with out there.
Also, different people who are listening to this might be in different boats.
I think it's important to do a bit of an internal audit of why don't you do more on LinkedIn?
And hey, maybe it's just I never thought about it.
I never invested the time, but you kind of get that it's important.
Or maybe you're like Kadri and I, where you're like, ah, I don't want to.
There's just like a lot of imposter syndrome, like what value do I have to add?
Who's going to want to read my stuff?
