We have been able to work together to lay out a strategy for the oversight committee over the last two years that has been effective.
The Republican Party's number one legislative priority was trying to bring the impeachment of President Biden to the House floor.
And we were able to derail them effectively in that.
And not only that, we've been able to focus on the real issues for everyday Americans, how expensive their drug prices are, how much we really need to make sure that we get relief to people's rent, housing, mortgages and more.
They admit that they've thrown Mahmoud in a cell thousands of miles away from his family because he attended a protest and they did not like the content of his speech.
But I want to be very clear, Folsom.
Donald Trump's detention of Mahmoud Khalil for his speech is anti-American, and we demand his release, along with the release of Rumeysa Ozturk, who he is also jailing for writing an op-ed in her school paper.
And we also demand the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador,
And we tell President Bukele if we believe in democracy, he must be returned.
It is criminal that he is being held abroad.
