The open was in July, 2017.

And it's not a good thing and a bad thing, but I almost wish I should have turned pro straight after the open kind of rode the wave and,

and turned pro then and, you know, just got going while I was full of confidence.

I did hang about for the Walker Cup, which was later in the year, September.

So I kind of had two months of just being on cloud nine, floating around.

And I felt after Walker Cup, I kind of was in kind of a bit of a decline.

And that was kind of when I was getting my opportunities.

And it kind of felt, kind of looking back at now, it kind of went against me.

So I kind of,

you know after such a high you've always got to have a low eventually but yeah so I didn't have to turn pro as late as I did or as early as I did it was completely my choice but the Walker Cup was one of my dreams it was on you know one of my lists to be able to accomplish and achieve and I was felt like I nailed on the team by that point so that's why I hung on and the pro game

It's different, especially coming from an amateur level, because, one, the support you have around you.

I was in all the England amateurs set-ups.

I had loads, like, five or six coaches.

They used to travel to events, so, you know, cover all expenses and costs.

And it was kind of in your own little bubble, really.

And then when you turn pro, you know, it literally stops that day.

So I lost all the coaches and, you know, all that support, and it's all down to you all of a sudden.

So, you know, a big adjustment if you want to have, like,
