I do think it's an amazing way to stay close to the game, but it's not something until recently that we have known you could make a living from doing podcasting and broadcasting.

Not something someone would say, that's what I do for a job, even three or five years ago.

And I also was surprised at how much goes into it because I had done a lot of public speaking.

I've been on camera, I've done interviews, but I'd never had, you know, something in my ear, someone talking to me while I'm speaking, telling us times or giving us facts or reminders and also hearing the person across from you.

Their voice is there, but it's also in your brain.

Oh, interesting.

And it's live.

So it's like the first time I did it for Champions League, they just said, you know, counted down from 10 and then it was suddenly breaking down plays and talking about players and this huge tournament that is the crown jewel of women's soccer, professional soccer.

And, yeah, I guess I probably blacked out, but I got good feedback that I said some stuff that made sense and was somewhat entertaining.

So I think every time I've done it, I've gotten better.

And they say always you just have to get reps.

But, you know, as an athlete, performance, you don't want to make mistakes.

It is...

I got that same energy, which was fun.

It was that adrenaline, but it also feels like a lot of pressure.

So on the one hand, I was like, this is so cool to have the lights on me again.

But I was also like, didn't I retire to not be feeling this?

And then it's gotten easier and easier.

And again, the other women who are encouraging me, who have welcomed me into this space with open arms, Julie Foudy, legend.
