It's very normal and I think it's almost essential, uh, for couples to be able to air their grievances, to be able to butt up against the other, to feel safe to do so.

So I think the idea that couples shouldn't fight

Is a real misnomer.

I mean, I think it depends on the couple, but my question would be why do they never fight?

What do they do with their needs?

What do they do with their hurts?

Because inevitably in any relationship we're gonna feel a little bit left down, let down, sorry, we're gonna feel like we're not being prioritized at times.

Like I don't think it's really possible to say that I've never felt hurt or let down in my relationship.

And so

What do you do with those hurts?

Where do you go?

Can you not communicate them?

Can you not ask for your needs to be met?

Do you not have any needs?

Are you getting your needs met elsewhere?

What is going on that they're not having these honest conversations?

Yeah, not all absolutely, and not all rows need to be a shouting match.

I think that's probably a really important thing to know is that you can row and have a really effective and a really successful row.

I think when you're shouting at each other, um, you're missing the point.

You can't hear what's going on with the other person.
