And, you know, you risk the the opportunity of really

Learning from what was upsetting you in the first place by not rowing properly.

So there's a model called the XYZ model, okay?

So that means basically when you do X in situation Y, I feel Z.

Okay.

So really what you're doing is you're coming from your feelings rather than attacking the person for their behavior.

So for example, when you don't text that you're going to be

late home from work and you go t fr to the pub and I'm at home cooking all day and you don't let me know.

I feel like you don't see what I do.

I feel like I don't matter.

I feel unimportant to you.

When you can come from that space of like I feel rather than you this, you always, you never, you're not attacking, you're coming from a much more empathic stance.

And the chances of you being heard and understood rather than being criticized are so much higher.

So there is a method to rowing.

Yeah, absolutely.

Absolutely.

Not when they've been an hour and a half stuck on the M fifty and you start into 'em about or into her even um about why they keep leaving their clothes on the floor, why they never help around the house or how tired you are.

It's not going to be heard, it's not going to be listened to, it's not going to be appreciated.
